Do you take credit cards?

Yes — Shenandoah Sheds offers flexible payment options. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover for the $99 reservation and full payment. Check is preferred; we have a 4% fee for credit card transactions.

Delivery & Setup

How quickly can I get a shed?

A level pad is required for the delivery of all sheds — most sheds purchased off the lot are delivered in 7–10 days once your pad is ready (weather permitting). Custom order sheds take 5–6 weeks to build, then we schedule delivery.

How long after I order will my shed be delivered?

In-stock sheds typically deliver within 7–10 business days after the completion of your shed's pad (weather permitting). Custom builds take 4–8 weeks from order to delivery, depending on the season and complexity.

What do I need to prepare before delivery?

You'll need (1) a clear path from the road to your shed location at least 14 feet wide with 14 feet of overhead clearance. You will also need a level pad. Shenandoah Sheds offers pad prep and excavation services. Full delivery prep details

What if my lot is hard to reach?

We've delivered to mountain properties, narrow city lots, and through tight gates. If your lot is unusual, feel free to send us photos when you call or visit. All sheds require a site visit — we'll inspect the location prior to delivery. Shenandoah Sheds also offers “build on site.”

Permits & Site Prep

Do I need a permit for a shed?

Permit requirements vary by Virginia and West Virginia county. Most counties allow sheds under 256 square feet without a permit, but rules vary on setbacks, foundations, and buildings near property lines. We recommend checking with your local zoning office before ordering.

Do I need a foundation or pad?

We require a level pad for all sheds. For 8' wide sheds, level, compacted dirt can work — a gravel pad is recommended. For any building over 10' wide a pad is required. This preserves the longevity and structure of your building. Shenandoah Sheds provides excavation and pad prep services. Just ask. Shed pad services

Quality & Materials

What does “Amish-built” mean at Shenandoah Sheds?

Our sheds are hand-framed by experienced Amish carpenters in Pennsylvania shops we've worked with for over a decade. They're built indoors, in covered shops, using traditional techniques and premium materials — not slapped together in a field.

What materials do you use?

Siding is T1-11 Smartboard (durable, weather-resistant, engineered wood) with Silverback embossed radiant barrier. Roofing is 30-year architectural shingles. Floors are treated wood flooring systems. Framing is premium dimensional lumber. Hardware is galvanized fasteners and quality door hardware throughout.

What warranty comes with my shed?

Every shed comes with a 10 year limited warranty. 50 year manufacturer warranty on materials. Our pads carry a Lifetime structural warranty. Specific terms vary by component — call us at (540) 869-4050 for full warranty details on a specific shed.
